Not because of physical pain?

For me it was when Steve passed. I couldn’t stop

Most recently when you used "weeped" instead of "wept."

I'm no scholar, but wouldn't that be "wept"?

Also, I'm 36 and don't really care when I cry or not

My dad had a stroke in 2018. Had a little private breakdown driving down the road one day when we were still wondering if we were going to have to wipe his arse, feed him, etc. He ain’t exactly whole, but at least he can tend to those things himself.

Coach V said to have your emotions bring you to tears every day. If you think, you laugh and you cry, that’s a hell of a day!!

My Dad passed away last May. Did well during funeral but at some point, went to grave alone. Pretty tough emotionally.

End of Masters of the Air. Well teary eyed anyway, not a full on weep.

Not from pain
When I put my 14 yo lab down a couple of years ago. Cried like a baby.

From pain
I had a staph infection on my forearm. Doctor just gave me antibiotics and sent me home without lancing it. I went home and started changing out my boat trailer hubs. I was straining to try and break a lug loose and the wrench slipped. My forearm slammed in to the trailer right on the staph. Most painful thing I've ever experienced. Didn't bawl or anything like that but it damn sure made my eyes water.

Had a dream about losing my wife although it wasn't really clear if she died...she was just "gone". Then next morning listened to "If We Were Vampires" by Jason Isbell on the way to work. Was driving around choking back tears...kind of embarrassing really but it just came over me.

Any number of days after our son passed in 2019. It took being not drown is depression to realize how much PTSD we had. It never truly goes away and it turns into guilt that you feel as if you’ve forgotten them.

We have a new blessing now that helps ease the loss.

One of the oldest troll moves in the book

Construct a question/topic that really isn't about the question/topic, but instead includes a passing reference to some dumb thing that'll frustrate people prompting responses like
