You should use a credit card instead of a debit. Much easier to get money back on credit.

I have a debit but only use it at my banks ATM at night when I need cash.

Most credit cards also have points or perks... debit cards dont.

Call police. Stolen card is a serious crime.

I bet I can describe some things about who took it. Maybe it will surface and I'll see I was right.

Stuff like this should be punishable by death. There really is no excuse for doing something like that

I used to work in an 800 bed hospital and a chain of surgical hospitals averaging 28 beds. Even the overpaying day surgery places would have thieves.

I noticed real quick the hospital er’s in NELA have empty cabinets except for maybe a roll of hand towel paper or some masks in the exam rooms.

Hell the last time I was admitted to Oschner Monroe the GI floor was so full that I spent over 48 hours in a tiny er room. Several times when the nurse would turn off the lights to try to help me sleep there would be people trying to come in. To the point that I told several nurses not to turn off the lights anymore.

I just last weekend installed a digital deadbolt on the house so I can get in without a key. When I go to the ER I don’t take anything except a Kleenex and my vape pen (if it’s not fully charged I leave it. I am medpot licensed so it’s THE most potent and the whole rig is only about the size of 2 cigarettes). I don’t even need an id nor insurance card since I am such a frequent visitor over the years (they recognize me with and w/out a beard even).

Glad your procedure has so far been a success. Wishing for all your procedures to at least be tolerable if not successful. Who knows what they will come up with next? And many things are not readily connected (like the skull x-rays following up on the fractured back. It’s a check for malignant cancer spreading but logic is bad lower back why check the skull?)

A credit card should be used as a layer of protection between the POS and your money. Get a credit card and lock your debit card away in your night stand.

The main hospital here has an issue with people breaking into cars in the patient parking lot. You’ve got sick people stuck in the hospital helpless while their cars get picked through in the parking deck outside.

Scum of the earth doing this stuff.

Call the police….this kind of thing happens often in hospitals. With relatively limited number of people accessing rooms, I don’t know why this happens so often.
