Does Drake stay on Kentucky's dick or Cal's?

Cal is 65 years old and has proven to struggle as a coach. He’s been playing with elite talent for years and has underperformed. So Arkansas - who cannot bring in elite talent the same way Kentucky can - is going to hire him for a few twilight years?
Agreed, if I was an Arkansas fan, I'd much prefer Beard.

Cal is a car salesman. I don’t think I can put him in a developer category. He always recruited better than anyone and shifted his philosophy to his talent, but never saw him create greatness outside of recruiting. I think Arkansas just put themselves in a bad situation.

Clearly UK would rather have Will Wade

WTF!
Is he originally from Arkansas? This is just such a random move.

I don't think Arkansas has much to lose by going this honestly. Do they want to win a championship or not? This is likely their best shot to do so

Do you even watch basketball?

I don’t think so. I don’t believe Calipari wins at Arky either. His best coaching days are behind him.

I see 2 to 3 years with a mutual departure. Arkansas just wasted money they could have used on the football and baseball programs.
Cal isn’t the answer right now, maybe 10 years ago though.

Even if Cal doesn't win big this reinforces that Ark is a big time job in bball. Hogs have history, fanbase, huge arena, and billionaire boosters to open the checkbooks.

It didn’t leave 2 programs in shambles and fail in the professional level.
However I’m sure cal sold some dreams this week and will make it to a tournament, the nit is improving.
