Only have Sa'myah and ADR for post players so need another one badly just to help with foul trouble and rotation to stay fresh. I saw recent video of Jersey she can handle the rock and will not be posting up that much probably sometime. She will be a matchup nightmare for any team at 6'5 with handles like that. Video below of Jersey handling the rock checkout bottom left video.

South Carolina UConn (I bet Beers ends up here) USC (with Iraifen commit) UCLA (with Leger-Walker commit)
Swap UCLA with Texas and those are Vegas’s final four favorites. LSU actually has better odds than UCLA at the moment

Any idea when we get bigs? Not WHO, but when!!!
I hope it is a big girl(s) from ADR’s region, to motivate and inspire her…..
With ADR, we have to be patient and trust
« her comfort zone ». Big girls with very large frames always must tend to their lower legs and FEET! Biblically we are told about « proverbial feet of clay »….spectators forget!

I’d assume they will be hosting some more this week or following week.
We won’t hear anything until it’s announced though

Is it possible they do not bring in anyone else? Doesn’t seem like that would be likely.

I can’t see them losing Angel Reese and not adding another post at a minimum, even if it’s a role player. They will add someone, the question is who…

I read on this board that she shot up close to 8 inches in the last two years. We really don't know what her game is going to morph into but it's safe to say that it will change.

Dauda or bust!
She has length, blocks shots and can shoot three's as a floor-spacer. Would fit nicely as a role player.

Idk of any other quality bigs in the portal left outside of Dauda. Some reports she is visiting Baylor and Arizona soon

Baylor just got commitment from post 6'3" Vonleh couple days ago who will start day 1. Can Kim convert Jersey to post/center? She is tall 6'4". And we have Smith at 6'2" and Morrow at 6'1" who are strong rebounders and can score double figures. Hope (pray) Rosario steps up big time this season, we're gonna need her to take her game to the next level.

Not a 5, a 4 yes.
Regardless they still need one more body inside

I really just want them to add a tall-ish defender/rebounder. I don't care if they come from JUCO, at this point.
Offense is a bonus. There's still plenty of ballers & bucket-makers on this team, so I don't see that as a requirement.

Scoring is not going to be a problem, we have ballers who can score. It's defense and rebounding. As a 6'6" big, these 2 areas are where Rosario can make a big difference for us.

I think she has grown to 6-5 now, maybe even taller.
I know Arkansas, back in '22-'23, used her exclusively as a post defender against LSU (guarding Angel & Sa'Myah). She wasn't all that aggressive or effective (being a freshman) but still that was Arkansas' vision/plan to utilize her height defensively. I imagine Kim will also continue to develop her there.
Offensively, Arkansas used her exclusively on the perimeter wing, in that game. Now, will Mulkey try to add post-play to her game? Maybe Ladeisha Williams'-esque shots???

She does slash through the paint alot from outside and catches the ball. I haven't seen any video of her posting people up not saying it isn't. Everything i saw her with the ball on outside and cutting.
If she does play post she will be a mismatch if used correctly because of her ball handling skills and deep shoot. She can draw the other team big out the paint if the other team playing man to man.

the only one outside of dauda and barker i was low key watching was kyla oldacre out of miami. 6'6", ranked #25 out of 2022 hs class (one ahead of flau'jae) and a mcdonald's all american. she had an injury freshman year and not sure she's found her stride in college bball yet...anyway, texas "hooked" her a few hours ago.
good news -- when schools announce commitments from post players that are not janiah barker, our chances get a weeeeee bit better. maybe they don't, but i'll think they do for now.
