how much per year is spent on an individual student in public school? heck this could save taxpayer money.

I don't know how accurate this actually is, so TIFWIW.

So, right at break even for the state average. Those few districts noted really run the cost per student up. I have a hard time believing some of them spend nearly a quarter million dollars a year per student. You can click on the link and see what that kind of money gets ya.

I believe it is like 11k for a regular ol student without tons of services...but includes the huge number of special education kids and kids needing individual plans it probably skyrockets.

You give me 10k per year you wont see many folks that care in public school. I assume the money will be diverted from the federal money too, so I would not think it would be as simple as La giving me a check.
