If anyone here ever worked at a Disney park, what kept you from killing yourself?

Money? Enjoyment? Furthering a career? If liberal, dei enjoyment? Plethora of hot single chicks that you work with?
This thread really isn’t starting out like you hoped it looks like lol

One of my roommates back in college did some sort of summer internship there. He was neck deep in strange the whole time. He loved it.

Well considering they’re hiring a lot more trannies and the suicide rate of that group I would imagine more of them will eventually kill themselves. But that will have less to do with working at Disney and more to do with the fact they suffer from severe mental illness.

My SIL/BIL both worked there for a long time.
They made excellent money, so I guess that was it. They would pick/design the restaurant plate settings and things. Do the menu/wine pairings for the food/wine festival. Seemed like a pretty cool job without being customer facing or anything.

The secret underground society with schools, housing, etc. Have you seen it?

My niece graduated from LSU in 2005, in marketing and merchandising. Took a job in Orlando for Disney designing and marketing Disney gifts for the gift shops. She loved it. Married a guy from Orlando (Florida State graduate, but still a nice guy) and still lives in Orlando. I’m not happy to hear Loup and Crane’s post about their buddies banging all the Disney workers, but I’m sure my niece was not one of them!!!

I worked with a guy briefly who worked there doing PLC work.
He worked with us like 3 months and left abruptly.
Then I saw where he was caught amd sent back to Florida for child molestation.
The guy fit every stereotype imaginable.

My brother in law’s nephew works at Walt Disney World - he loves it. He works in the parks and drives a bus. I’m not really sure why he loves it so much but he skipped college to work there.

I'm not a pedophile, so no.

The people I’ve met who worked there seemed to have enjoyed it. Seems more like a career starter environment than anything else.

Didn’t YeYe and Boo Krewe work at Disney? They need to join the thread.

I knew a couple people who did the college intern deal there in the mid 2000's. As others stated it they all enjoyed it and claimed there was no shortage of willing and able fellow interns of the opposite sex. The guy who seemed to have the most fun worked at one of the restaurants in the world showcase. Apparently the young ladies in that area tended to have the higher drive and he enjoyed himself more often than the others I knew that did the program.

This place is populated with poor miserable people who have no friends.
