It takes a really strong, disciplined manager to be effective and work remotely.

On the other hand, Dell is likely losing out on a lot of talent with a blanket policy.

This is the thread where all the people that are productive in WFH don't realize that many people are NOT productive and you simply can't only hire productive WFH people at a large company like Dell.

39 days a quarter seems like a solid policy actually. You could just work your 39 days in a row and then go work remote. 3 guys could share a flat together and each of them work remote for a month or so at a time.
