Well I guess the first thing you should know is Good Friday is the one day a year there is no Mass.
There is a prayer service and it should be very penitential in nature. Good Friday is a very somber day, it’s the day the chosen people turned on the Lord and nailed him to a cross.
It won’t be weird if you go, but if you’re going to be at a Mass pick another day of the year.
