Anyone who was thinking with their brain and not emotions knew he couldn't do shite.
He has an extremely small majority to work with. He can't make any big moves that would lose more than five Republican votes.

Whelp. That’s it. Only way to solve our spending woes is to get the entirety of voters to support people who essentially love more spending.
Sounds like an absolute jewel of a plan.

No. Several on here were excited because he is from here.

There is no leadership at the top.
Johnson is going exactly what they were told would happen, I hate the populist "throw the bums out t at all cost" mentality." Dipshits keep voting for bums, then blaming the bums.
Its insane/

Trump has led the Republican party since midway 2016. That's 8 years with Trump in charge and we're still supposed to pretend Trump shouldn't be held accountable for the mess the GOP is today?
How can have led the party for 8 years with only 8 in the House?
You guys also claim he destroyed the party at the same time.

Just out of curiosity, do you think it's more important to do things because it's popular, or because it's the correct and prudent thing to do?

What? no.
You have to create palatable options who want to reduce spending as well and make them well-liked enough to win elections.

We live in a democratic republic. We rely on elections to appoint our representatives in DC.
At some point, to get your policies installed, you're going to have to make those reps popular enough to get elected.
