Left out a pretty important part of that quote, didn't you Skippy? Just ignorant, disingenuous, or purposefully misleading?

I fricking knew you'd fall on your face trying grasp on to that.
Here you go...
quote:
Federal officials said that Malinowski shot first from inside the home, at which point agents returned fire, hitting Malinowski multiple times.
Nice fricking try, sport.

Such an insufferable dickwad. First reports were that he fired on the agents and was shot in the head. The circumstances of him doing so are what we don't know.
Did he shoot through the door and the agents return fire through the door? If so, good shoot.
Did he open the door and then fire on the agents? If so, good shoot.
Did the agents knock and announce, and wait for a response? If so good shoot.
But there are just as many scenarios where firing on the agents is a reasonable response.
Whatever the scenario, there's no need for you to be so county about it all.

Maybe, but I'm correct, as usual.

First reports...
That's fine. To argue that y'all weren’t rolling with knee-jerk reactions based on likely false information is idiotic.
It's fine that you did it. It's also fine that you tried to deny doing it. Just don't get pissy with me when I call you on it.
Good talk, sport.

Where would any information come from in a case like this? Was it the from the guy shot in the head? Someone else in the house? Or maybe the media was getting their firefight events from a neighbor? If the information was likely false, it was coming from the government who accidentally or purposefully set up events that resulted in a citizen with a bullet in their head.

In this thread...assumptions. You saw "ATF raids..." and rolled with the assumption that this was a no-knock, door-kicking, AFT murder.
Maybe it was, but it sure doesn't seem like it was.

That's YOUR assumption. I'm not going to go back and copy all of my posts, because you are a douche and it would be a waste of time. I only saw a couple of posts of people making assertions like they knew exactly what happened. I can tell you I wasn't one of them.

No need. We've already established that you're full of shite.

I already demonstrated that this is bullshite.

Just for you, Skippy.
The rest or my posts are in response to your hogwash. Go ahead and point out where I posted that I knew what happened, or assumed anything.

Which is exactly what one would do when someone is kicking in your door in the wee hours of the morning. It is exactly what would happen at my house, not knowing who is on the other side of the door.
quote:
quote:
It was a search warrant, not an arrest warrant, so unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.
Tell me counselor, why would a search warrant need to be served at 6AM? Was the house to be moved by 8AM?
quote:
quote:
1. To ensure that someone is home. With sleep and work taking up 2/3 (or more) of our day, plus ancillary movement relating around work, there are a few windows that all but guarantee a person will be home. Early morning and late hours. Now, the fricked up ones are when they come at like 2-3am. 6am isn't THAT bad.
I thought they were executing a search warrant on the home? What is the need of having the person there?
quote:
2. Traditionally, they demand an element of surprise. Often this is because paperwork or drugs can be disposed of somewhat quickly. However, again, review my previous comments ITT for my personal opinions.
If they aren't home, nothing can be disposed of, correct?
quote:
Increased chance that he would not be there. Possibly a 100% chance (based on when he leaves for work. 8am is a little late for most professionals)
But the house and its contents that they have a warrant to search would still be right there, no?
quote:
quote:
quote:
What is the need of having the person there?
To secure the defendant
Didn't you just say it was a search warrant, not an arrest warrant?
quote:
quote:

Not all evidence might be located in one location.
Who did they shoot at the other location?
quote:
quote:
Regardless of how loudly they knock, I know the difference between a crack head and a large number of cops.
This is bullshite. Large numbers of cops and swat people sneak up on people every day. And nobody has said if they knocked at all. They very well may have busted the door in as the first noise they made. We don't know.
quote:
If I start shooting, I will be shot.
Which is why this should be on the government to handle these situations in a different way. The guy may be a complete POS criminal, but if you put a man in a position of defending his home against unknown aggressors, bad shite is almost certain to happen.
quote:
Waco, and Ruby Ridge, and a thousand other cases where the government abused its power which resulted in death.
quote:
quote:
Still waiting for anything that says this is how it actually went down.
We don't know either way. We do know that it happens all too often. We also know that if you put a man in a position to defend his home and family, that's exactly what many men will do, whether a criminal or a saint.
The rest or my posts are in response to your hogwash. Go ahead and point out where I posted that I knew what happened, or assumed anything.

That is after they shot the man in the head. What about when the two agents walked up on the door?
