If we’re going a complete decade, it would be the 80’s.
Now a ten year time span would be 65-75. The beginning of the 70’s was some of the best music ever made. But Disco killed the vibe that Floyd and Zeppelin created.

We were happy and optimistic in the 80s and the music showed it. Black and white people got along and celebrated life instead of looking for a thousand microaggressions under ever spoken word.
There will never be a creative explosion like we had then, particularly the early 80s.
Not like the shite on the radio today.
