I agree but I did hear recently that with the Children’s Museum getting close to opening and Crying Eagle getting started they are going to start looking at development on the other side of the lakefront parking garage on the old Hilton site.
Maybe they can work their way along the lake and eventually get to the Civic Center area. Hoping that the tower coming down may spur some development in that area.
I love LC but there seems to be two big factions here. One that wants to be Lafayette/BR but doesn’t grasp the population differences and one that wants it to be LC from 1960. Theres so much potential for growth here but it has to be done in a structured way.

100%. luckily the ones that want LC of 60's are dying off and no longer have the power like they used to.

They need to relocate that old cemetery right on the lake front to make more room
That is right in the way. Its not that full. I think there are like 5 or 6 graves in it and they are all from 100 years ago. I doubt any relatives are around to get pissy about relocating it
