That's what I am making a point about. Get rid of voting for lawyers and get people in that know how to handle money. It's pretty simple.

We haven't had a President like that since Coolidge.

Well if you do not try to start, you will never get to where you want to be.

Well, considering he went to Syracuse for law.

Maybe we need another military dude?
I know DJT had Daddy get him out of service, what about Sleepy Joe?

You're correct. I couldn't remember which was law and which was undergrad, but I knew he went there for one and Delaware for the other.
I'd put Syracuse solid third tier as a law school and my point still stands.

Evidently Washington State thinks very little of lawyers as they don’t require bar exams as of recently. Business acumen can be far superior in running countries but unfortunately hood lawyers are needed as well.

Dude only natural American citizens can hold the office of VP or President which is confusing since there is nothing natural about Biden

Not all politicians are lawyers
Majority of Congress and Senate are lawyers or have a degree in law. They need to go. If you get rid of these people you may have a chance to overcome corruption.

decision is a no brainer,,,, I will always vote for a responsible business owner before any one attached to the legal profession

I can agree with the general premise.
here's the rub.
we've created/allowed a corrupt system to become exponentially more corrupt. it now recruits and incentivizes corruption. there will be some who get into it for the right reasons but they'll be few and far between and will likely be corrupted soon regardless of previous profession. The fact that Trump is a business man is not what shielded him from this corruption.
you really need total reform to begin to encourage quality.
term limits is a start but I think there should even be "total" limits (IE no career politicians even if in different capacities).
beyond that there absolutely has to be some compensation reform.
off the top of head.. 20 percent raise over what you're currently making (or a minimum pay start for each level - whichever is higher), plus 10% a year after that.
and there absolutely has to be accountability. a watch dog agency that can effectively scrutinize income and ensure nothing is part of a hidden kickback. no book deals while in office. no investing while in office outside of like a general 401k or similar (prevent insider trading). no politicians should be making millions. unless it's from previous sources (and I admit that even that would be tough to properly police).
when people see that politicians CANT make millions you won't have an applicant pool of people who only want a way to make millions through whatever means.

This is where corruption lives in DC. Unless people start to understand, it will be a wheel that repeats itself.
You do not believe DC politicians can make millions, though?

Business background? Who Trump? He’s filed for bankruptcy protection after bankrupting 3 or 4 casinos and has filed for bankruptcy at least 6 times. He’s a horrible businessman. He graduated from Wharton Business School where he claimed he was the top graduate, but fellow students who remember him say he was average at best and one professor said he was the stupidest student he ever had! His name wasn’t even on the list of honor graduates. Some businessman!

BINGO
There are only a very small % of lawyers that aren’t complete scumbags!
Leech off the system they created where you can’t even wipe your butt without having a contract to protect yourself.
They create red tape on top of red tape, laws, laws and more laws to
Give themselves more job stability.
Just look at all the major catastrophes that have hit Louisiana the past 20
Years, ALL THOSE BILLIONS in State & Federal Aid for the BP SPILL and so-on, Lawyers scooped up on over 50-60% of that money.
Look at the major class actions, the poor people that were effected long term, lost health, lives and loved ones etc…and they get Pennie’s on the dollar and the law firms run away with the bag!
It’s disgusting what the legal system has become in this country, I wish it was illegal for lawyers to be able to Serve in Gov’t, I know that’s ludicrous thought, but the world would be a better place.
I believe law school is basically training on how to professionally lie, spin the truth etc…. And the better that you are with that, the more successful They are.
Another reason I always like the “non-lawyer candidates”.
