The SEC isn't exactly a basketball powerhouse minus one or two teams. If he comes back to the SEC he'll do OK. He can't go to a true basketball conference.
He beat two top 5 teams in 2018-19 one of which on the road and additionally a team that made the final four

Most of our fans overlook or don’t see the obvious. Were a poorly coached team who doesn’t do any of the fundamental things it takes to win and whose coach can’t adjust, can’t identify what his own team is and cant catch up to modern, big time basketball.

Why do we have to say things like this just because Wade no longer coaches here
The SEC is a very good basketball conference. Arguably the 2nd best in the country. Wade had success in it. Then he did some really stupid things and go fired because of them.
No need to act like his firing was unjust, or to explain away the success he had here.

Are people under the impression LSU is a better team than Mississippi State?
Read that sentence to yourself again, therein lies the problem. Mississippi State should never have a better team than LSU in any sport.

This is just factually inaccurate. This team has shown time and time again to make adjustments at half and make games close if not win them. Do you just throw shite at a wall and hope it sticks? Jordan Wright was 2-14 shooting today. You can't win like that, but go on with your boring and overused narrative

Wow I’m so impressed with Wade. This season at crackneese, he lost to Western Carolina, La Tech and Southeastern La. But hey did beat Incarnate Word, Champion Christian, Letourneau, Texas A&M Commerce & Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The only decent win he had was against Michigan. That’s it. Let him play an SEC team this year and the get lit up. GTFOH with Will Wade. Such bullshite.
Holy shite you are dumb as frick.

Hooray! We were down 30 and only lost by 20! Upward trajectory!

Cutting into a 30 point lead when the other team relaxes isn’t making adjustments. You saw what just happened, they adjusted and McMahon couldn’t counter. Happens all the time.

I get it that you're mad the Yankees suck again, but you really should find some happiness in life instead of crying on here every single day

So sad you cant even stay on topic and defend your bullshite arse statement.

It's impossible for people like yourself to understand basic logic so it isn't worth trying anymore. You're a miserable person and it's obvious you're never going to be happy about anything in life.

Hahahahahaha.
Still cant defend your bullshite.
This is comical.
Please explain to us why it is better to lose by 20 than 30???

How old are you? You're cherry picking one game this season to drive home a point no one cares about. You're actively rooting against LSU. You want to be right so bad that you'd rather see LSU lose. I feel sorry for you and everyone you know that has to deal with you.

The biggest issue for me seems to be the overall lack of feel for the game and curious rotations.
LSU just played this game. They know what MSU wants to do. It's not a secret. And to his credit, the first half plan of attack on Hubbard was excellent. But you start the game with Baker. Fine. Let's see if he can give you some offensive pop from outside against a team that is going to force you to shoot from deep. But you know he can't handle the physical load on defense or the glass. Yet, he leves him in for 6 minutes once it's clear Baker ain't scoring, and is getting pushed around like a child. Dean comes in and IMMEDIATELY changes the game. Literally, the first possession he's in. His physicality inside gives LSU something they don't have.
Jordan Wright was a one-man offense killer in the first half. It wasn't simply that he was missing shots. It's that every time the ball got into his hands he overdribbled and stopped the ball movement. You can't do that against a great defensive team. Yet he did over and over. Often leading to a turnover. Wright went out and suddenly the offense opened up with great ball movement and pace to open a lead. He then puts Wright back in late in the half and the run slows because the ball gets stuck in his hands again.
Nonetheless, LSU has 7 point lead at the half with momentum. It would have been great to keep that going to start the second half. But he puts back in his starting lineup which was completely ineffective in the first half. Yes, HC's often start the second half with the same lineup as they started the game. But you have to be able to sense that maybe for this particular game this line up isn't your best. So what happens? LSU gets outscored 12-5 in the first (nearly) 8:00 of the 2nd half while Dean sits on the bench in his warmups and Wright continues to clang miss after miss and throws his hands in the air in frustration every time instead of getting back and defending. All of that great effort in the first half GONE...because there is, I guess, some rule that says you have to play the starting lineup for a predetermined amount of time in the second half regardless of what is actually happening on the floor. LSU lost all of their rhythm from the first half and MSU was completely comfortable.
Despite the bonehead lineup/rotations, LSU stays in the fight. Hannibal (with Dean and others on the floor) drags LSU back to a 5 point game (61-56). So with appx. 2:00 to go he puts Baker back in the game (who has done nothing) and Reed who was either sleepwalking, stoned, or both all game. You needed to get stops, rebounds, and (hopefully) push the pace off of it to get some baskets before MSU could get set in their halfcourt defense and choke you, and the game, out. But what does that line up do? Nothing. They don't get stops or rebounds and MSU extends the lead and LSU picks up another moral victory.

Agree and I’ll give 2 quick examples. 1 the use of Jordan Wright over the last couple weeks. Jalen Cook was much maligned down the stretch for poor play and shot selection. We ran a ton of 5 out, high ball screen with him that had no off ball movement. As is the majority trend in college bball teams played drop coverage against that so unless Cook created a good shot on his own or the pop man was left alone we had mostly bad possessions. Now we have Wright running the same set all the time and it’s producing the same results. McMahon is behind the trends in college basketball. 2nd example is on D, in the 1st half today you saw us blitzing the ball screen which we haven’t done all year but it worked well for us. In the 2nd half we went back to our old coverages and got torched. This has been a trend with McMahon, when he gets desperate he’ll try something new but even when it works well he always just goes back to what we normally do which is often not successful.
