My thoughts(just saying)
Need to move Kling out of lead off.
Mb Monster there
Get Tanks in spot opp can’t pitch around
Bear needs to hit curve ball

I love this narrative. What is the primary goal of the leadoff hitter? To get on base. Only 3 players have gotten on base at a higher rate (OB%) than Kling. They are Milam, Kucherak, and Travinski. I could see Milam as the lead-off guy, though his clutch hitting probably is better served deeper in the lineup, Travinski will not and should not be your lead-off man ever. Kucherak has only 10 ABs, no conclusions can be drawn from this.

no matter where you put Tommy in the lineup the opposing team is going to pitch around him and not give him good pitches to hit. Thats why its important for the two players who are in front of and behind him in the lineup to be productive. Because as the season goes on if those two are producing then they will need to change their approach.

No one is pitching around him. He’s swinging and missing at a much higher rate this season and is just not seeing it well right now. He’s too good of a hitter overall not to figure it out. But I haven’t seen anyone pitch him with extreme caution this season.

Tommy started last season slow (by his standards) as well. Needs a porker from a Tigerland bar, that's all...

Already covered by in the thread, point stands that he gets on base at the 2nd highest rate of our main starters. He's also probably the fastest guy on the team. I don't think moving Monster there would be a bad decision though, he's handled everything well so far.

So who do you want protecting him? Jay has tried a multitude of guys. Also I still think Tommy is getting into the swing of things from his surgery and not playing fall ball.

He has hit curves this year. He's improving. He's got the most homers on the team. He's tied for the team lead in triples ( ). He aso leads the team in slg%

What’s your lineup?
If you move Milam to leadoff you need a 2 hole hitter
Most of these guys are all very similar. Which doesn’t make it as complicated as fans try & force it to be.

This is accurate, but I don't know that he is going to figure it out. It seems that he can't get around on the inside stuff. Maybe his shoulder injury has something to do with that. I think he needs to get very disciplined about taking that inside stuff and drawing walks or HBP. But that means we need someone behind him to punish them.
My disclaimer: I've probably only seen 25% of his ABs this season, so I'm drawing conclusions on scanty evidence.

If you know better than Jay, what’s your proposed lineup? Otherwise your opinion is shite
