You know the government is not governed by religion.
So who cares what either of those old arse politicians believe. They legally support what they believe should be applied.
Explain why this is a problem. It's between them and G-d if there's a faith issue.

They speak of their Catholic faith as a dragnet to try to gain support from other Catholics that are easily manipulated.
They support abortion like many other politicians.
Many of us Catholics take issue with church leaders both for internal issues as well as not excommunicating those politicians that support a pro abortion policy.
Basically I want the church to tell those politicians pick a side. However, the Catholic church would probably take a hard stance against Trump if he said they should be able to eat meat in Fridays during lent.
They support abortion like many other politicians.
