Yeah I don't understand. Did they get a refund on the room? If so, then being upset the room was resold is irrational.

If they still had to pay for the room then certainly they should be upset. They could've gotten some other friend or family member to come take the room if it was non-refundable.

No they’re mad (rightly so) that a room paid for in full for the entire cruise was “subletted” mid cruise - on the same trip, not a subsequent cruise.
