Florida doesn't give a frick.
That will likely change slowly after 2026, but current Florida does not care in the slightest.

I understand they don't want underage kids and I also understand that many of the people attending these are young adults over 21 looking for fun. But I don't understand doing things like not allowing alcohol on the beach (alabama also), 2x towing, and other penalties that basically eliminate fun for anyone.
Having a strict crack down on drunks in public, underage drinking on the beach, drunk drivers, etc. makes sense. But hell they are making Miami Beach and Orange beach damn near unenjoyable for 6 weeks of the year.

Everything you love about spring break in South Beach is because of…..

Yeah, that's the point.

Who can blame them. You know it's bad when events like "Bike Week" when hundreds of thousands of bikers show up for an extended stay is still going on while these once "College Kids" spring breaks are being killed off due to too much trouble.

They aren’t welcome here in PcB either

I suspect if you are quietly and discretely enjoying a beverage without giving an officer a reason to talk to you - you will generally be fine

The people that come for bike week have money to spend and aren’t causing issues and bringing illegal weapons into the county.

They can't blatantly come out and say they want to ban 17-27 year old blacks, so they have to put these blanket policies out. Anyone with two functioning brain cells knows this is in response to the destruction those feral "youths" caused last year.

Expect curfews, security searches and bag checks at beach access points, early beach entrance closures, DUI checkpoints, bumper-to-bumper traffic, road closures and arrests for drug possession and violence.
so basically don't be a drunken debaucharous a-hole, and it's business as usual?
i have a good time on beach trips, but none of those rules would deter me from my normal activities.

That was the place when I was in school. Tons of Cash's bumper stickers.

It's not "Spring Break." Most of those people have never finished high-school, much less been enrolled in a university.

Cubans doing work.
If the Cuban Uber drivers from the last time I was down are any indication, black and Cuban relations are not in a good spot in Miami.
3 different Uber drivers gave me their unsolicited opinion on what group was ruining Miami Beach and I could see why.
This was not spring break time and walking around after dark was not enjoyable. Fights, people stopping traffic to twerk, every car blasting music etc.
I have zero interest in going back. Not paying 4/5 star hotel prices for that.

Can’t say Hottentot anymore in England. Being removed from books, plays, music, etc.

Bike Week
I’ve been to Bike Week. It’s not the same as Spring Break at all. There’s a lot of money and not many problems at Bike Week.

PCB has been cracking down for quite awhile after the MTV Spring Break hey days.
There is a local "COPS" show called "Blue Lights" that would cover PCB during spring break. Was always an entertaining watch.

I can't recall if it was FWB, SoWal or PCB, but a number of years ago, a bunch of ne'er do-wells from Mobile came over and caused major problems, including firearms IIRC
This led to more crackdowns by the LEOs.
I remember MTV even coming to Okaloosa Island (FWB) in the late 80s or early 90s.
