I have no problem with a kid making a deal off his own NIL, but the way it is now there is no structure, rules, etc. Schools should never have been allowed to get involved in the deals. The cat's out of the bag, though, so here we are.
Schools need to just stop pretending that these are "student-athletes." They are being paid. They are employees or at the very least contract labor. These are the minor leagues for all of the professional leagues and tours.
