illegals were the best damn neighbors I ever had when I lived in an apt. There was about a dozen of them living in an unfurnished 2 bedroom, but they would like at 5 am, come back at 5:30 with some coronas and hot dogs, and all be passed out by 8

Same, those dudes could cook. If they were grilling when I got home they'd always hand me a beer and some food.

Do you realize what this does to rent prices? Do you realize that rent is the biggest driver of inflation due to the necessary pressure it puts on wages?
Go ask Canada how that’s working for them.
