My dad had one at one time for his small farm to protect his chickens which were free ranging most of the time. Each time my brother would come over with his little boy, who was about 2-3 years old, the dog would follow my nephew around and when he’d wander too far off into the yard, the dog would take his arm (his whole arm) gently into its mouth and guide him back to us. It was amazing to watch and my nephew would laugh every time.
They do wander though- he’d get calls from neighbors who saw his dog miles away, but he never went to get it because it always came back.
