But more importantly, it's childish to believe that you could go to the Capitol building while the Congress has closed it to the public in order to conduct the business of transferring power at the very highest levels of government, for the very purpose of interfering with that process without expecting MAJOR fricking repercussions from the federal government. You know this, I know this, every fricking one knows this.
This whole discussion is absolutely ridiculous, and without any real sincere convictions - if you pardon the pun.
Those in the Capitol building were trespassing, and should suffer the consequences. That other law-breaking protestors should also suffer the consequences of their actions is irrelevant.

No. It’s actually very relevant. If justice is only meted out to those of an opposing political party, it ceases to be justice. You know that and still expect us to enjoy sniffing your farts as much as you do.
