I think Louisiana would do well building out some roads and higher quality planned residential/retail areas to support all of these major employers around Lake Charles and Baton Rouge.
Neither area has a lot of high quality, well developed suburbs yet. The areas that seem to have some real growth are also not investing very much into their own infrastructure.

Lake Charles sucks bad. Traffic is so bad. Most of the city is ragged and run down there’s a few small pockets of nice areas but generally it’s crap. Sulphur is worse.
Beauregard parish especially the southern part is gonna continue to grow. Nothing but wide open land out there. No wetlands stopping growth also. Just timber that is cleared easily.
