Interesting to see if that holds up in the future with NIL, Bowl Game Opt-outs and Transfer Portals being a huge part of College Football.

Even with all the changes, I’ll still always prefer CFB over NFL. They will never take away the pride and pageantry that you get with the original SEC teams.

War eagle, golden band from tiger land, the crimsonettes, the golden girls, live mascots, the hedges, the attire people wear to the games, the tailgates, the rivalries. All of it. You just don’t get that with NFL. Sure there’s some rivalries but it’s not the same. There is just something about a fall Saturday afternoon when your campus and state just feels like the center of the universe.

It’s electric. You’re driving through campus and you see rival fans walking by so you yell out your war cry at them in an aggressive but harmless manner. You haggle and haggle these people all day and end up seeing them at the bar after your team beat their team and you buy them a drink and talk about the season and their teams traditions. It’s spectacular
