80s were better and likely 70s (I was 12 in 79, so I don't remember it all) were even better. AIDS and the war on drugs are the major stain on the 80s.

I was born in 1960. I had the same fun in the 80’s as you had in the 90’s. But having lived in both I go with the 80’s.

Things seemed to be humming right along in the 90s, then we eased into 2000s and were rewarded with 9/11 and after that the world has been a colossal frickin mess.
