Michael Knowles Prenup - Would you agree to it?

Yesterday’s divorce thread got me thinking about this.
Michael Knowles, (Daily Wire content creator) had a simple proposition. You divorce, you forfeit everything.
It would reduce the number of “no fault” divorces, would address the concerns of the red pill community (can’t loose half your stuff if she decides to leave).
I’d do it with the following modifications:
-If you commit adultery, abuse, or abandonment, you have left the marriage. You don’t get to be a dick and force your spouse to file while keeping everything.
-Only related to assets, joint debts and custody are still adjudicated by the court
Would you do it? Why or why not?

There are so many ways this could go wrong.

Or…..
Don’t get married and you won’t deal with divorce

That's pretty silly.

That’s great if that works for you, but most people don’t want to live in a society where there is no marriage. Why not try to find ways to make it work better?

America doesn't know how it wants to view marriage.
You have tons of secular people who have "traditional" marriages.
You have religious people who still have traditional views.
But then you have the ones who view marriage merely as a business contract and even go as far to say monogamy/marriage is "outdated".
Marriage is important for a stable society but our government does absolutely nothing to facilitate its prevalence and seems more encouraged to promote LGBTQ behaviors than traditional marriages.
If marriage is important then add laws to make it more common and stop incentivizing divorces or the outcome where one person is cut in half in a no fault divorce which eventually destroys kids and sends them on a multi-generation cycle of bad relationship outcomes.

This is the worst idea I have ever heard

Pretty strong opinions against…does anyone care to elaborate on why it’s a silly, terrible idea?

100% agree with this and Knowle’s idea would address that. You don’t just get to walk out the door because “we drifted apart” and walk away with prizes. If you leave the marriage, then you leave everything that “belongs” to the marriage.

Marriage is dying because it is fundamentally a contract that benefits the party who breaks it... and penalizes the party who adhered to the contract.
This isn't the fix.
This isn't the fix.

Some people consider a slight eye-roll as abuse...

I’m confused.
This is exactly the problem his idea is addressing.

His idea is legit insane and very few rational people would ever agree to this.
Say you're a great spouse who is the sole income and your stay at home spouse turns into a huge c-word and gives up in the marriage. No cheating, but just does nothing except bitch at you, eat, and watch tv.
If you divorce her, she gets all of your property/savings.

There are vows for a reason.

Because it's also not fair... to someone trapped in a sexless marriage, or to someone married to an addict, for instance.

Or any of OweO’s posts.

It would basically allow someone to hold you hostage in a shitty relationship. Some people treat you like crap the minute they think they have you “trapped” and this is a perfect scenario for those kinds of people to thrive.

Aside from mental illness/depression, I have never seen this happen. If you’re a great husband, why would a sane woman choose to live in complete misery?
If she’s mentally unwell, a great husband would get her some help.
