I went to watch some friends play a baseball tournament in Bogalusa in like 1992, and I remember the adults talking about how dangerous areas of it were back then.
I can't imagine how bad it is now.

New mayor is young and naïve, only 23 or something like that. Got elected because he went to college graduated and came back... which apparently makes you qualified for something like that. He tries hard but it has to be an experience issue and lack of management skills. Kid is taking on hell with a squirt gun trying to fix Bogalusa at 23 years old.
