True. And the difference is not because Texas and A & M have "twice as many alumni". Otherwise, we would have half the endowment of those schools. If we did, or even close, this conversation would not be happening.
LSU is obscenely underfunded and under-endowed. But that's education, not athletics, so most in the state do not care.
