That’s interesting. It’s not that often you hear someone say the A7 is their favorite. Usually it’s something like a F4 Corsair, P-51 Mustang, or a newer airframe like an F-15 or F-16. I have to ask what about the A7 makes it your favorite?

FWIW, I’m also a fan of lesser known aircraft. If I had to choose a favorite, I’d have to say the Douglas TBD Devastator.



It’s a rather obscure early war American torpedo bomber and was an abject failure. Not many of them were built before it was retired from front line service in 1942. But there is something about its look that I just like.
