If your BP is creeping up on you as you age then start a resistance training program to increase muscle mass.

In home blood pressure machines aren’t accurate at all. The doctors office with mercury and aneroid cuffs are used to manually take blood pressure with a stethoscope are the most accurate.
Home machines can be off by a lot.

Add 10-20 on both sides if you like booze.

52 on one med. average during the day is 130/78. At rest it's like 121/75.

Experienced this recently after a visit with my cardiologist (61 yr. Old male). I had the same thought about trying to sell more meds.

101/54 79 Pulse. Sometimes when that bottom number is in the 50s I get pretty light headed though.

Oh … so you are a doctor now….

If you need meds, take them. High BP very damaging to kidneys. I almost ruined mine by being hard headed.

Just got one of these from Amazon. Take it every morning after I've been up for 30 mins or so. Most mornings it's below 120, but have seen it in the 130's.

I'm 40 with a family history of high blood pressure. So, I monitor mine semi frequently. It's been a couple of months since I last checked it. But my last 3 readings were:
107/83
104/81
109/81
I have an Omron monitor that was recommended by my doctor. I know it's probably not 100% accurate, but he told me to just use it to monitor changes. The monitor and app tells me those numbers are hypertension stage 1. But my doctor says they are fine and I wouldn't need to worry unless they start consistently going up (more specifically the diastolic pressure). My heart rate is usually mid 70's to mid 80's.

116/69 right now with pulse of 84. When my pulse is high my bp is low w and vice versa.

Unrelated… my resting pulse runs within normal range of about 60-70.
If I put on a monitor (easiest is a finger pulse ox monitor) and watch, I can make my heart rate drop and drop. I breathe deep and slowly and relax and watch the monitor … and when I do , I can get my pulse down into the low 40’s. Try it. I know… CSB

This statement is not accurate at all. I've taken mine to my twice a year wellness exam and they are always really close.

This is true and that's why you bring it with you when you go have your blood pressure checked by the nurse. She/he doesn't mind.

Yes this helps a lot but I was already eating clean and doing IF and my BP was in the area of 133/81 on average at best.
The only change I made was to start doing resistance training. Besides a few warmup stretches, nothing else.

I'm 51. Usually 115/75 with 48-52 pulse

Mines high as shite. But that runs in the family.
Meds will likely be needed soon.
Don't neglect that. If you aren't careful you'll have a stroke and one side of your body will go dead or something even worse. Take it from someone who's been there and it's my own fault by ignoring it too long
