Actually #6 Georgia is 14 point favorite over FSU in Orange Bowl. That should be a hint.
Or may be we could look at recruiting ratings or average the rankings from the last five years.

Hell, let's do the same thing in every sport. Let's just let sports writers pick playoff teams in the NFL, NBA, and MLB. Let's let Glenn Guilbeau pick playoff contenders.

I’m not a believer in the PAC12. I think FSU’s defense is good enough to beat Washington without Travis.
I also don’t believe Michigan is that great. BIG is overrated too. Not sure they would beat FSU

If the teams, in this scenario, do not play each other, who is to say which is better? If that is already known, why play the games? Tendentious people are possessed of very limited intellects.

Alabama was no more deserving than FL ST. They lost by 14 to Texas that played a weak schedule. They struggled with South FL and needed a miracle to beat 6 win Auburn. FL ST was UNDEFEATED with a great defense and a month to get their 2nd string QB ready. There are absolutely no OBJECTIVE facts that support anything other than FL ST getting in.
