re: Was Troy Aikman overrated?

I went to the games, watched the games, and find the Aikman questions absurd.
Here is what I saw:
He was tough as nails. Brutally beaten up before he had a line.
He was extremely accurate on all types of passes and had a strong arm.
He could run when necessary. His 40 time is 4.75. Mahomes is 4.8.
He could read defenses.
He played biggest in the big games.
Amongst a bunch of hell raisers who often ran into trouble with the law, he never did. High character and leadership.
He demanded coaches and players be accountable.

is he top 10 all time? Probably just outside IMO around 12-15.

Could he have taken an average team to the Super Bowl like Elway or Brady? I don't know about that as it's a very short list.
