What it should be:
Altuve 2B
Brantley LF
Yordan DH
Bregman 3B
Abreu 1B
Tucker RF
McCormick CF
Diaz C
Dubon SS
What it will be:
Same as last night
I will not be convinced that Dubon shouldn't start at SS. Pena is giving you nothing. Javier is strikeout and flyball pitcher. Let Maldy call pitches from the dugout IDGAF but for the love of God change it up.

Love the Rangers and want to see them finally get over the hump.
Hate the Astros.
That said, what a great series.
Game 7! Whoever wins it definitely earned it.

Love how the Rags fans are all in the thread out of the woodwork pregame and then only postgame if they win. Otherwise, they just disappear. If you're going to come into our thread, stick around to take your medicine when we win!

This is the way, especially at home where Diaz has had success hitting it out of the park
Yordan needs to be 3rd to get as many ABs as possible

That is cute. I see what you did there.
What would you like for your 12th birthday?

My bet on Abreu is the suspension will be reduced to one game. That's why they gave 2...so they could reduce it to one. I think he's out tonight. It's such bullshite. The only evidence I heard was Michael Hill in an interview saying the umps all said it was intentional and his other evidence was that Abreu is a good pitcher with good control and wouldn't hit someone that way by accident. Really? This isn't evidence. This is speculation. It still pisses me off.

Kyle Tucker had me nauseated last night, and he’s been the same all postseason. If you can’t be more engaged than that on this stage, kindly frick off with Dusty.

You want to try that again? That makes no F'n sense.

Using umpire judgement to suspend a player during the playoffs (which literally doesn’t happen and hasn’t happened since 1980s) is so absurd…and to make it worse even in the 80s they thought a Game 7 punishment was too extreme
He already got kicked out of a game, what the frick is wrong with the league and where is the players union to stand up for him?
These same umpires who can’t even get basic balls and strike calls right and mind readers?
It’s even worse because they suspended Harper in the regular season because his batting helmet bounced off the ground into an umpire, yet Garcia has received virtually no punishment at all (1 inning of playing defense in right field) for literally grabbing the arms of the umpire and throwing them out of the way in an attempt to charge an opposing player

I am not confident, but hopeful. We've gotten a lot of crappy hitting at home from the good guys, but they do bust out of it periodically. Hoping that is tonight.
Framber was fine last night. 2 runs from us were never going to win that game. He handled Garcia beautifully and those strikeouts were sweet! Then Montero...
Tucker and Pena have been awful. They barely look alive. But Tucker has slumps. He did get 2 hits a couple of days ago and he has walked. So I'm hopeful that he is coming out of it and will have a night tonight. Problem is, hope is not a strategy. I'm probably fricked.
Let's pray we get near perfect Javier (El Reptil) and a Scherzer that's still not ready for prime time.

Should be if THEY win. Because that is exactly what happens. Me? I'd rather just stick to my own thread because I find trash talk childish bravado by guys having a pissing contest.

Yeah... complete BS.
Abrue said in postgane that a call came in from the dugout for him to slide step to keep Carter from stealing 2nd. slide step he hasnt done all year threw his mechanics off and led to the HBP
In no world are we trying to put another runner on there. No warning, nothing just ejected and suspended for game 7 and possible WS game. Im big mad

I went back over the abysmal 7-28 home stretch and compiled our RISP numbers....
Total: 49/242 (.203)
Wins: 20/59 (.339)
Losses 29/183 (.159)

I want to believe that the difference in this series home/away is that we have faced their best pitchers at home in all 3 games (Montgomery/Eovaldi/Eovaldi again) and the arse-end of their rotation in Arlington. We lit up rusty Scherzer and Heaney...then Montgomery pitched well again in game 5 before we got to the pen.
There is no reason not to score some runs tonight. Scherzer is a major question mark...and even if he does pitch well, he probably cant go too far and they will have to go to the pen for someone like Dunning or Heaney.
They can't just keep trotting Sborz/Leclerq/Chapman out there and expect to win. At some point, the Scotch tape and bubble gum that are holding their bullpen together has to break. Tonight has to be that night.
If the Astros score 2 runs tonight, they 100% deserve whatever happens to them.
