Thanks. They’re based out of Athens, Ga. and just signed with Atomic Fire. The label is from Germany and they have some fairly popular acts on board, the biggest being Meshuggah.

Matt Smith is the singer and he's the guy I know in the band...he does sound like Labrie from Dream Theater, but I do know Matt doesn't listen to them very much...his favorite band is Fates Warning.

Interesting, considering Fates was kinda DT before there was a DT. Saw the Fates/DT/Ryche tour years ago. It was damn good.
Your friend's band is excellent. I will now be making an unexpected purchase this week.
