Did anyone else see the new ad for Brandon Presley the democrat in the Ms governor race. It had 4 RINOs saying they support Presley and not Tater. Then they finish by saying Let’s Go Brandon!

I haven’t paid much attention to the Ms governor’s race. Is this a desperation move by Presley, or are republicans in Mississippi really stupid enough to pull a Louisiana and vote for a democrat over an unpopular republican?

ETA: Here is the ad. Let's Go Brandon!

Questionable to try using “Let’s Go Brandon” as an actual campaign slogan.

Mississippi has had one of the lowest education systems in the US for a long time. But keep voting for Democrats. One day they "MIGHT" care. I think he is trying to take advantage of the saying. It won't work.

Only in Mississippi can the two leading candidates be named Brandon Presley and Tator.

My all time fave is Menelaus O’Daniel.

I think the new strategy going forward will be to get "moderate" blue governors in traditional red states. There is a huge swath of independents and soft Republicans who would walk over broken glass to pull the lever for someone they deem a "free thinker" Democrat, but really is just a Biden clone in disguise.

There is absolutely no chance that Presley wins the governors mansion. No chance.

I don't care if Tater is polling at 30%, he'll be fine for reelection.

He has also said that he would expand Medicaid on day one. Stupid democrats believe he can do that. We have had but one statewide office held by a democrat (Attorney General Jim Hood) but he won several terms. Other than him, none in years. As popular as he was, he was not able to beat Tate. Tate is over playing it a bit and I think it will be close but Presley is not well known other than the north part of the state. His office (Public Service Commissioner) is one of 3 and he serves the north but represents the whole state.

Here's the thing. Tate is a pompous dick that is hated by a lot of people but he didn't have a legitimate challenger in the primary. Presley has these ads running saying he supports the second amendment and is pro life blah blah blah. My question is, then why are you a democrat? Honestly if he would have been a republican and said he wanted to expand Medicaid he probably would have the chance to put up a better fight even though I'm against it.

Parker was a Democrat congressman who changed parties to run for governor.

44% of the electorate in LA has no political affiliation. This is why I'm not assuming Landry will win the gov. race.

Come up with some better candidates and r's can win easily, but they never do. Now, there are more and more fake republicans because every consultant in the state is telling prospective candidates that d's cannot win in many parts of LA.

You’d be surprised how many upper class people in the metro area are card carrying democrats.
