On a team like Miss State which is run heavy it puts pressure on them since they do not have the explosive offense to keep up with you scoring on the first drive. 1 score then becomes 2, etc.
They're immediately 7 points behind which already builds pressure on a team that lacks explosive options to keep up. Totally different for them if they get the ball first 0-0 and can dictate the game how they want.
