Would much rather be experiencing Tallahassee, swing the campus, etc.

I’m with you. I hate neutral site games. Especially in the regular season against big time out of conference opponents.

I think doing the neutral locations can be cool for schools who play in smaller stadiums / don't have great home field atmospheres.

That is not the case for LSU or FSU. So yeah, agree with you 100%

You’d think we could find a sponsor for the games that would fork out the 10 mil and let us keep games on campuses

$10 million for two trips and basically all expenses paid. Neither school would turn this down.

LSU: “We have the best stadium in America”

Also LSU: “Let’s play in other venues instead of Tiger Stadium to start the season”

We had a great time in Orlando this weekend, but I agree - I’d rather a true home and away.

A “neutral site” game between two teams like this should be played in a premier venue.

THIS x 1000
My in laws have a place in Laguna Beach, Fl.
Nice little 2 hr drive to Doak. When I saw the home/home, I had the prefect football/beach weekend planned for Labor Day. Wanted to see the campus, Doak, etc.

Then they move it….

Yeah I get it but would Tallahassee give the school 25K tickets? It’s a combination vacation and football game for many more people to have the opportunity to attend.

Agreed. I went to Charlotte to watch the UNC/USC game. It was a sterile, pro stadium with zero college feel and a terrible acoustics/sound system.

Had good sight lines and no bad seats, but was a pretty blah experience.

I prefer home and home so much more. It is so cool seeing big time OOC teams come into TS as well as play at their stadium. There’s no culture in playing in Orlando and having half the tickets for each fan base. I worry the administrations worry more about paychecks and less about culture.

Same, I can get excited for truly neutral games in Dallas or Vegas, maybe a NYC big cities, but to play one that's relatively close to the school you're playing? Boring. Just play a home and home.

Especially crap stadiums like camping world ….. if you’re gonna do it, do an NFL facility.

I hear you but as a person that lives in Orlando that doesn’t get to see live games anymore this is awesome

I’m not a fan of the neutral site games in general, but it does reduce the chance of losing a game to hurricanes or having a hot AF day game
