I do think only a select few didn't really want Napier. Honestly he isn't a bad coach but man I don't know what is going on at Florida. That place is a death trap for coaches since Meyer's left, good lawd!

7 coaches since Spurrier left in 22 years. 6 of those years was Meyer. 4 coaches in the last 13 years.

didn’t want to hire Napier strictly because he was the ULL coach. That was insane.

i don't agree. a program the level of LSU should only hire a coach with a proven track record at the power 5 level. Napier doing well in the sunbelt is not a guarantee that he would transition well to the best conference in the power 5. As we are currently seeing now with florida.

I didn't want him

Remember, there were people who were saying Aranda didn't have enough experience. I think he's a far better coach than Napier.

The 'Sun Belt' jokes are true, honestly. You can't come from a low G5 straight to the SEC, and expect a seamless transition. The game is just different at a Florida or LSU. Your talent evals, big game prep, how you handle the media, the boosters etc.

I'm confused why are we talking about Florida's football team problems on TD.

Let the SWAMP BURN for all I care.

Where were these Fla. worry warts when Fla. was beating the crap out of us in Tim Tebow years ?

How can you be an LSU fan and not enjoy such a shameful, embarrassing showing on their first game of the season? We usually have to wait for a Bowl Game for this type of nationwide embarrassment.

Corey Raymond? Get your head out your arse.

All the "Realists" on here told yall this for years.

He's a "Used Car Salesman" that can recruit, but can't coach......

And this skill may become much less valuable for the position coach in the NIL era. Development track record will be key.

I did a nervous chuckle remembering Les Miles years there. Actually a few times.

That is some hilarious shite right there LOL. Couldn’t happen to a better fan base. I didn’t want Sunbelt Billy but I do remember a good number of posters stumping hard for him. Also, I remember some Gay tor assholes laughing about us hiring BK and how Billy was going to stomp our arse. Last night was awesome!
