I am also trying to increase strength at 70 years old and have kinda hit a wall. What do you think of creatine at this age?
I will be 70 in a few months and creatine (and exercise and decent diet) is working for me - I'm maintaining my weight while losing fat and adding muscle - I also walk for an hour every day and lift light/moderate weights every 3rd day - 3 sets of 5 upper body exercises 25 repetitions each - slowly increasing the weight to avoid injury - 2-3 pounds/month - I also work on my core a few days a week to maintain balance.

I'm turning 50 this year. I work out 5 days a week but have recently gone back to lifting heavy. I'll admit, I've been getting tempted to get into my son's creatine and protein powder regime.
One of my major goals is weight loss, though (because I mountain bike and weight matters when you're pedaling your fatass up a hill), and I worry about the extra water weight from creatine. I guess I just need to get more strict on diet to combat that.
FYI: 6'1" and 204.
