I love Otis, I watch his YouTube channel all the time. I thought his podcasts from a few years back were better but he couldn't monetize those

He's got to be cool guy, for all these people just to come hang out and talk to him.
Or he has some killer weed

He's a musician too. Kind of a folky singer songwriter. I'd go see him if he ever plays in my town.

The Black sheep from the other brothers Gibbs?
I bet he could do a great version of that coal mine cave in song
Have you seen my wife Mr. Jones?
I really like him too. I wish we had more content like that.

yeah that's funny.
True story: Their antenna is right beside I65 in a pasture, and it's huge. One day back in the 90s, I had been in Nashville pitching songs and it was an unlucky trip. I was driving home kind of depressed in my old Buick.
Right as I am passing the WSM tower, a song hits my brain right out of the blue. Not just an idea, it's a complete song, and I hit the shoulder and wrote it down on my yellow legal pad. That's the only time that had ever happened to me and I couldn't believe it.
After I finished I couldn't wait to get home and I made it from there in just over an hour.
The wife and kid were at her Mom's and I had the house to myself. I walked in and sat down with my guitar and recorded it on a radio shack cassette recorder. I think I nailed it on like the 3rd try.
It was a pretty decent old school country song. It never made me any money, but it caught a lot of attention when I would play it out back then and it helped me get stuff listened to by publishers.
For a long time after that, I would slow way down every time I was passing the WSM tower
This is that song

I appreciate the compliment!
I like telling that story too, and it's absolutely true.
I like remembering that car too, it was one of my Dad's favorites. 74 (lookin back at some photos, that car was actually a 73) Buick Centurion 2door hard top( same as a LeSabre with no frills all engine) 455 automatic, Vanilla white with a buckskin vinyl top. I kept that one as long as I could.

I didn't see your original post before you deleted it. I suspect it was relating to the recording on the cassette recorder.
Of course that wasn't it. I recorded that song a few times in studios, even as formats changed. That's the best I have that I can put out at this time. It's not the best version though.

frickin Link it!
I want to watch it right now.
I like your brother's stuff, and cool attitude.
I have a pneumatic mouse shaker that keeps my computer on, so this thing might say I'm online, but really I'm not.
Give me a real chance to see something before you delete it.

My brother has been touring since June, a west coast swing and now an east coast swing. He's been telling me how shitty the buses are that they are using and now he has told Otis.

I have one of your brother’s records. Bought it when I went to see Iceman at the festival in Alexandria early this summer. frickin’ love the Shinyribs. Their cover of “Drivin’ My Life Away” is how you do a cover proper.
