How often do you trip over your pets?

Just wondering if anyone else has pets that love to sit perfectly where they will be in your way?

My “baw” is 12 years old and lives to be in the way. I’m gonna break a hip one day.

1 to 2 times a day minimum.
She has a wonderful habit of liking to lay down in the middle of doorways. Plus she's dark brown and blends in with our floors.

Hardly ever, but it did happen yesterday. Opened door to walk to the kitchen and dog was sitting right outside the door in the hallway

Every day. Especially in the kitchen. They like to be in my business.

Same here. No dogs for the past 15 years but do have a cat. That boy is doing figure 8's between my legs every morning when I break out the canned cat food to feed him.
And if he's out and I call him in, especially this time of year with the heat, he comes inside and immediately plops down on the tile floor to cool off-----usually right in the middle of the kitchen floor.

Especially in the dark, dogs need to be told humans have poor night vision.

Every time I go out of the back door, I trip over my cat Nimrod. The exception was yesterday. He was too busy dismembering a rabbit in the flower bed to be under foot.

All the time. My kids are in the way too especially in the kitchen.
I figure I’m the biggest person in the house so everyone needs to learn to watch out for me. Not my fault if you don’t take precautions and get knocked over.

Not sure what it is about Australian Shepherds, but they live to be under your feet everywhere and at all times.

Never. Mine is a border collie and whenever I get up and walk around, he is on my right heel.

I have a 15 year old Jack Russell mut that has dementia. In a 7 day week it can be anywhere from 11 times to 211 times.

Don't really trip over them (2 dogs), more likely I step on their paws when I don't know they are behind me.

Every morning straight out of the shower. He just wants to play

Great topic!
Our Dorkie is 17 years old and can hardly see anymore. She’s always in the kitchen. So I’d say at once a day.
