Government isn’t backing the scam; they created it.

As someone who works for OXY and is currently in the middle of the gulf working the biggest clusterfrick of a shut-in I have ever witnessed, I have no doubt that this venture will be a valuable asset . This company man...

I know you can’t say which asset you are in, but what’s making it go so badly? Just curious

Is carbon capture more or less viable than Theranos?

You would think that they just started planning this about 3 weeks ago. There are 4 total job scopes to be taken care of and instead of following what they preach and SLOWING DOWN, they try to do all 4 of them at the same time. All of these jobs require a shitpot of equipment and we have limited deck space on board, so they just contracted as many boats as they can for storage. We had 9....NINE boats floating around out here with shite scattered everywhere. They even had to have some of them loaded out at a different dock. On top of that, they didnt have any of our representatives at that secondary dock to oversee loading, so none of the equipment loaded out was documented on a manifest. So its constantly shuffling boats between cranes to pick this up and set this down and move this over to this other boat. Im a BCO so Im the one that deals with that. They had a golden opportunity to practice what they preach and focus on one job task at a time, but no. They just try to cram all of it into a 40 day shut in.

Its been this way since they beat out Chevron to buy Anadarko. A constant shite show.

That money they put in the Bidens’ pockets was a helluva investment for them.

Coming from someone who is assisting with the acquisition, Occi is only doing this for the tax credits, which they will just sell. Similar to what Tesla was doing

But what have been the efficiency gains in the Permian? Wasn’t that the main reason for the acquisition?

I could have shown them how to blow into a balloon and tie it off for $800 million.

Transferability is a new thing, Tesla had to go the OG tax equity route.

I’m on an asset in the western gulf. We can’t flow for longer than 2 weeks without having to shut in for something. Max POB all the time, more projects going on than we have people to watch them. It’s extremely overwhelming and frustrating. I miss the Anadarko days so much.
