How healthy is it to do a cleanse every couple months or so?

I had a colonoscopy a couple weeks ago. The prep was all OTC.
Nothing after midnight the night before
Clear liquids all day
4 Dulcalax at 3pm
1/2 of an 8oz bottle of Miralax at 5pm
1/2 of an 8oz bottle of Miralax at 9pm
(Mix the Miralax with Gatorade)
It cleared me out and was not the horror stories I’ve heard.
Would this be healthy to do every couple months or so? I did feel great after doing it.

Yeah I need to do one myself again
I do one maybe every 6 months
I get a route 44 water from sonic
Big jar of miralax. Dump half the bottle in. Stir. Drink
Repeat until the bottle is gone .
Then prepare thy anus for a flushing out

I used to do a cleanse and fast 2-3 times per year and have been planning to resume. The important part of the fast is that you have to phase IN and OUT of it and it's strange what keeps coming out after after you've stopped eating. It's also strange how after a few days you don't even want to eat.
I don't know enough about dulcalax/miralax to comment on their repeated use as laxatives; but I do phase into my cleanse/fast with nothing but raw vegetables a couple days before the full fast commences and can attest that I'm cleaned out.

Colonoscopy a few months ago and for some reason I asked for the cheapest cleanse. DO NOT ever do that. Pay.
Filled a huge jug and started by having to drink 8oz of the mixture every 5 minutes for two hours. Give that a try if you like misery. When the instructions include what to do if you puke, that’s not good. Got thru the first hour and said that’s enough. Drank to more glasses over the next 30 minutes and stopped. Never again

The VA gave me the cheapest stuff available. Some packets of powder. When it touched my lips I would start throwing up.

First time I ever had to have a colonoscopy was drinking that stuff! I would gag every time and didn’t even finish the bottle

I had one two weeks ago and have a colon resection coming up.
Why would you think it is healthy or want to do that prep every couple of months? Your liver and kidneys "cleanse" you everyday. If you just like the idea of peeing out of your anus, drink a bottle of magnesium citrate and have a ball.

Cleanses are unnecessary foolishness. Your liver and kidneys cleanse you every minute of the day.

Just for shits and giggles I took down an 8 oz of miralax last night. Never done anything like that before so wasn't sure what to expect. It isn't too bad. Definitely the first round that came was cleaning out a bunch of filth.

I get that, but I typically don't have black feces that smells that awful. I haven't had any alcohol in a month. All I drink is one or two cups of coffee a day, water, and some milk with a protein shake. I haven't eaten fast food in probably a month. Before I took the miralax, all I have eaten for 2-3 days is clean food. The first load that came out was rancid compared to what I typically produce when eating and drinking healthy for an extended period of time.

All Miralax does is pull water in to soften your poop. It's not some miracle that scrubs you out.

Haha I’m not arguing with any of y’all. All I’m saying is what happened to me. I have normal poops. I took the miralax and had a black completely rancid mess on the first shite. After that it was back to normal color and smell, just water instead of solid.
I'm literally just stating facts. I'm not trying to say it did something that it doesn't do. Can anyone explain why it was black and rancid because there was a distinct change in color and smell between my normal to liquid phase.
Solid poop color 1 smell 1 then liquid poop color 2 smell 2 then liquid poop color 1 smell 1. What was the difference in the two liquids. Why was there a short burst of black putrid stuff.

The shite they gave me was this powder that tasted like murky sandwater when it was mixed with water

I did a barium swallow one time so they could scan my esophagus. I was told it would likely exit my system within 2 hours, that proved to be true. That's all I got.
