Thoughts on Senator Jay Luneau in the Alexandria area? His current term ends on January 2024.

He is a democrat. One of the few remaining white elected democrats in Louisiana. He is cut from the same cloth as John Bel. He is able to maintain office bc there are enough blacks voting Dem in his district & a few more white libs to bring him over the top. I would desire better than him if I lived in that district.

Scumbag PI attorney. At least he is actually an out front democrat though instead of the other PI attorneys in the legislature who masquerade as republicans.

Unfortunately due to the latest district realignments, this idiot is my state Senator! Can’t be much worse than my districts previous state Senator,, Louie Bernard! At least with Luneau I know he will never vote for my beliefs! Was pretty much that way with Bernard!

Not his biggest fan. He tries to come across as moderate.

Jay is a good dude but he is a white guy in an overwhelmingly majority black district. The district was actually drawn for a minority to be elected. He has to be liberal to stay in office.
