Hey fellow TD travelers! Question. I have 24 hours in Louisville. Anything a can't miss? I know Churchhill downs in there, and the Louisville Slugger place. Any spots for eating and getting a drink or two?

Highly recommend La Bodeguita for dinner. Do the angels envy tour so you can drink at their cocktail bar afterwards

The menu looks good. I don't know if I have ever really dove into Cuban food much. I might check this out.

Obviously understand you can’t do all of this in 24 hours but this is a list from when I went. Just went in December, such a great trip.

Restaurants:
Biscuit Belly
Doc Crows
Hot Brown and Mint Julep from The Derby Cafe

Butcher Town Grocery
Fat Lamb
Corner Feast BBQ
Jack Fry’s
Proof on Main
610 Magnolia
Fork and Barrell

Hole in the wall bar called Expo next to the Louisville Comedy Club, try the acid cat. One of my favorite parts of the trip.

Highly recommend Black Rabbit for dinner. Backstrap was terrific and it’s a speakeasy with hidden door. Get reservation.

Meta is a really cool cocktail bar. Had some of the most creative drinks I’ve ever seen. The Seelbach Hotel bar had a great bourbon collection. One of the only places I found that had Pappy available for a 2 ounce poor and wasn’t insane price.

I second the Angels Envy tour and tasting. The Evan Williams Experience was great too. It’s an experimental distillery where they only make one barrel a day to try out recipes for Heaven Hill. The tasting was worth it as you got some top end stuff. Only place in the US that sells the Japanese red label Evan Williams as well. It was $180 I think. It and a 20 year are part of the tasting.
