They are tagging it as out of context and not playing the part where he says he was kidding. Seriously, anyone think the old vegetable was kidding? He slipped up and tried to cover for his Tourette's confession.

This along with the hunter what's app message likely forced Jack Smith to illegally leak the audio nonsense sooner than he wanted to.

What makes it illegal for it to be leaked?
Genuine question.

Is Musk censoring this?

I don’t think anyone accused him of selling state secrets.
This a PR tactic from the vile leftists.
Joke about something worse than you were accused of and distract.
Pathetic that is works on the weak.

I am. What the hell do you think 10 million dollars bought?
(actually, they are saying it is going north of 30 million, now)

It was my understanding that indictment evidence like this was supposed to only be shared with the defendant and internally. I am not a lawyer, but I have always heard that these types of leaks were illegal and often considered an effort to poison the potential jury pool.

Definitely possible. But I could see the loophole being it being leaked by the person who owns the tape.
The reason why I'm skeptical of it being illegal is Trump would have absolutely called this out publicly.

Illegal does not equate to violating court's order necessarily
There was prior article on how all documents obtained in discovery (ie this tape) should be kept confidential. They definitely broke procedure by leaking.
If I'm trump it just green lights me talking about it

*should* is likely a key word though.
And it certainly don't surprise me that the DOJ/government would break procedure. It pretty much should be expected at this point.

Why does it need to be leaked if there is nothing wrong with putting the information out there?

I don't see anything wrong with that Notes, it is true, he did say he was joking afterwards.
My personal belief is that he was doing the old "tell the truth and then say I was joking" bit to rub it in everyone's face.
But the Note is accurate

I dont think they are trying to make excuses. I think they are flaunting it to mock trump.

Speaking as someone who believes he sold influence for money he was clearly joking there as you can tell if you watch the whole clip.

Should’ve posted a titanic submarine update for “context”

People sell their votes and influence. I mean it isn't a prerequisite that you know state secrets in order to take a bribe as a public servant. I am not saying it isn't possible but the 10-30 million could be for all sorts of different dirty things that don't involve state secrets.

he no longer runs twitter, he turned it over to someone else to run and they are quickly returning it to deep state censorship centrol.
