I am new to bow hunting and still looking to learn from vets. How often do you wax your bow strings and are there any other PMS’s I should be doing?

Keep mine n case. And wax strings before and after each season. No issues, shot same bow and strings for prob 10yrs

I would guess I was mine 4-6 times a year. My old bow had never had the strings changed and was over 15yr old. That being said I know of some people that change them every year.
It’s a good idea to snug each and every Allen bolt on all accessories/components since they have a tendency to loosen up over time.

Do NOT leave your bow in the vehicle during the hot summer months. The limbs will likely delaminate.

Don’t overwax your strings. A little goes a long way. I shoot year round. Wax maybe 3-4x a year. You can tell when they need to be.
