I've been up here for 10 years, and I guarantee you they are more pompous.....
the majority of their fans hate anything to do with LA or TX.....can't understand why RR or JM would dishonor their home states by playing in a state who considers their home state "deficient"....penis envy, for sure.
Probably because they aren't Japanese. You expect these guys to be concerned about dishonoring their home state?

TX I can understand...but why LA?

I cannot think of a good reason why anybody would choose to live in Oklahoma or go to OU over LSU or UT.

I am shocked that no one has asked Dmitch to respond. You guys are letting me down. RR is going to his school of choice.

Trust me, he won't like Oklahoma if he's a normal LA boy......
Norman is a decent college town, but the Okie Nation is as "narrow-minded" as they come....
They despise us for the 2004 arse-whipping we gave them, and to this day, proclaim they "should've won the game"....in spite of our double-to-triple advantage in most of the major categories....
said they were treated poorly in New Orleans by Tiger fans....too much "Tiger Baiting".... proclaimed the whole state a "rat-infested swamp"....
Meanwhile, you cannot get an OU fan to admit that the "castration attempt" by four 50 year old OU fans of a Longhorn fan inside a local OKC bar constitutes "bad behavior". That incident was documented in court!
Boomer Sooner, RR & JM!!

i also remember some douch bag from the tulsa world wrote an article about new orleans and lsu fans the day after we beat their arse and called all lsu fans "purple neck swamp trash" they are just ridiculous and i hate them for it they just can't face the facts that lsu was the far better team and all i heard was that we had home-field advantage. all of them are douche bags osu fans are ok but ou tries to find any excuse they can to hate lsu and right now their best excuse is because les is our coach.

All the more reason I like Les Miles.....he was considered a "goofball" by many OKIE fans because he didn't bow down to Stoops and Company, and beat them a oouple of times with far less talent and money.....
OSU fans are, in general, nice folks and complimentary of other teams...not OU....they never get beat by anyone, they just played badly!!

Randall isn't going to OU, don't kid yourself. OU is way to far to travel by car from Northeast Louisiana. Randall's family wants to watch him play. Bama and Baton Rouge are the same distance and it's between those two schools.
Why would Randall want to play for the Buffalo Bills of college football?? 0-4 in the their last 4 BCS Bowls.
LSU's defense just sacked Jason White, Again.
USC scored another touchdown.
Boise State is still laughing along with the rest of the country.
West Virginia is still running and still chanting over-rated.

Those OK fans are generally okay, but there are plenty of crazy ones. I was talking to a couple just at week ago, and they were saying that Saban taped their practices, Bill Bellicheck style. They said that was the only reason we won.

o more RR threads till an announcement from the young man's mouth happens
No, this thread was actually new info. Very possibly false info, but that just goes to the point that no one really knows anything and proves what many here have been saying.....It's the pointless, "what's the latest on RR", or "What if Bama signs RR" that need to be deleted.

thanks, NOLADAN.....you actually read my entire post!
I don't necessary believe anything said on TV or radio, either....this is just another example of the "noise".

Julio Jones was supposed to be a lean to OU last year as well.
I had this exact same thought. It seems Oklahoma is just as good as bama at these dumb rumors.
