I’m not calling for his head, but Johnson needs to answer for the pitching.

Yeah, losing Edwards and Shores hurts bad. But the fact that past them, this division one baseball team doesn’t have anyone else that can consistently throw strikes and get outs from the pen is inexcusable. How can every other pitcher be this fricking bad?

Feels like he leaves pitchers in one batter too long. Guidry 100% should’ve come in late in this game. Lock up a win before worrying about tomorrow.

Well he brought in our best pitcher. Our third starter is a transfer. Our second best starter is out for the season.

Maybe it’s just year two and he hasn’t gotten all of his guys?

Some of you somehow don’t understand why Alan Dunn is at Arkansas state and doing terrible

Our guys throw strikes. They just couldn’t get batters out.

Answer for being half game out in the best league in the country and wrapping up a National seed about 3 weeks ago?

You people are truly pathetic.

You can’t go to Hurd and Cooper in that situation period.

He has more than pitching to answer for! The batting lineup needs to be answered. Why is Beloso hitting behind White? Why is Thompson hitting 9th? Why is Jones still in the lineup? Joberts 1 hr for every 30 strike outs needs to be answered. I could go on .

Hurd succeeded in the same situation the last two weeks.

It wasn’t an outlandish strategy.

LSU has 5 key injuries at pitching. All 5 of those guys were significant. At least 3 were guaranteed to be potential starters or your best relief. The other 2 were highly thought of coming out of HS and likely would've been major contributors too.

There are guys that went down in the preseason.

Grant Taylor likely would have been one of our starters and was on absolute fire.

There is a point where Johnson can’t add anyone else.

Losing Noot Appleby and Taylor in the preseason hurts.

We’re leading the conference in ba by 20 points. Just stop. All of those guys have hit better than whoever would replace them. He’s changed the order recently based on who’s hot and he’s got to go alternate lefties and righties or you can get exposed
