Trump pushing and bragging about the vaccine should disqualify him from consideration by any freedom loving American. He used very poor judgment and showed horrible leadership throughout the whole process.

Everything is forgivable when forced to choose between whoever and a Democrat.

However, his unwillingness, inability, or lack of fortitude to rid the country of Anthony Fauci will be something that forever tarnished his legacy. It was either pure cowardice, or an ego so large that it caused permanent damage to the United States of America. Neither is a good look.

Still would happily vote for him over whoever the left pitches.

Everyone agreed at the time the fastest way out of the pandemic was through the vaccine. Trump did not mandate it, only recommended it. Most Trumpers turned it down.

You guys say we are a cult but we don't follow the cult leader's recommendations.

Try a little logic and nuance going forward.

You backing RFKjr? I’m pretty sure he’s the only announced or presumptive candidate of either party who criticized the development of the vaccine in any way (eta, to be fair, I think Biden sort of mocked/scoffed at the idea, but he never really criticized them once released and actively got behind mandating them in all sorts of instances, so I don't think he really counts).

More DeSantis supporters took the vaccine compared to Trump supporters

If he comes out with true sincerity, and apologizes for this, then picks up Bobby Kennedy for VP, I believe it would do the trick.

A sincere apology will never happen, though.

Trump made the decision based on the evidence of "experts". He never made it mandatory and I don't think he realized the snakes involved even in the medical community.

Y’all must be multi-boosted by the fastest and greatest vaccine ever. A true leader would have made measured comments and ensured the vaccine was tested and safe before bragging about it. I wonder how much money Trump and his family got from Pfizer and Moderna.

Listening to Peter Navarro on the PBD Podcast over the weekend Patrick challenged Navarro this issue. They did not know Fauci was lying to them AT THE TIME. It wasn't until the Biden administration that they realized Fauci was lying to them.

DeSantis did recommend the vaccine AND he took the vaccine AND a booster.

he already told us, in his own words which it was. Cowardice.

He flat out said that the left would be too mad if he had removed Fauci.

DeSantis wasn’t in the position that Trump was in.

Retarded isn't a defense in this case.

I wonder if Trump or Peter read the fine print of a single vaccine study or if they called a single doctor who was raising red flags about the vaccine. Those doctors were out there. A true leader would have. A poor leader would have wanted to be able to brag about helping to create the fastest and greatest vaccine ever that he ended up blinded by his narcissism.
